Join us on June 16th for a special screening of the Academy Award-nominated documentary 5 Broken Cameras, followed by a conversation with featured speaker Iyad Burnat. Filmed through the lens of a Palestinian family in the West Bank village of Bil’in, 5 Broken Cameras offers a deeply personal account of life under occupation and the power of nonviolent resistance.
The film documents years of community organizing, resilience, and the human impact of policies that often feel distant from our daily lives. Following the screening, we will hear directly from Iyad Burnat, a Palestinian human rights activist and leader of the Bil’in Committee Against the Wall. His family’s story became known around the world through the film, and his work continues to highlight the importance of justice, dignity, and advocacy.
