Including Handmade Crafts by Palestinian Women for Sale to Support Deir Samit Village

The Palestinian village Deir Samit is about to be cut off from the outside world, due to the announcement and groundbreaking on 3 new illegal Israeli-only settlements surrounding it.

We invite you to join us for a conversation with Mona, moderated by local Jewish activists Lynn Pollack and Lesley Williams, to hear what life for Palestinians is like right now in the West Bank under Israeli occupation. Find out how Mona has kept dozens of families there afloat these past few years through embroidery and gift sales. We’ll also share how your church, business, or group can adopt Deir Samit as your sister village!

Co-sponsors: Evanston for a Free Palestine, Chicago Area Peace Action, Jewish Voice for Peace – Chicago, Peace and Justice Committee of Lake Street Church
