It is on each of us to take action at this moment. Communities and workers are coming together across the country to prepare for “No Work, No School, and No Shopping” on May 1st.
Help make this May Day our largest anti-war mobilization in recent memory. Members of Congress, corporate actors, and billionaire profiteers who are making violence possible against our communities here and abroad must hear from us.
ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE:
—Join the anti-war contingent in the May Day march alongside About Face–Veterans Against War and CCAWR – Friday, May 1st at 1:00 PM – Union Park (corner of Ashland Ave & Randolph St), Chicago, IL 60607.
—Support the General Strike call to action: “No Work, No School, No Shopping!”
Beyond a one-day General Strike, we invite and support efforts to deepen our knowledge about the public’s tools of leverage to resist and protect – tools like a sustained General Strike with specific demands. Such actions have won rights in the past, and can do so again.
