Why are we rallying? When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust acts of censorship and violence. The system must be radically transformed to work for the public, not the powerful and wealthy.
The U.S. has a long history, rooted in white supremacy, of suppressing the rights of people of color, marginalized communities, and workers of all kinds. But our history also clearly shows that people-powered movements can organize, resist, and evolve.
Show up this Saturday with CAPA at one or more of the rallies in Evanston, Wilmette, and downtown Chicago. Bring your signs in resistance to ICE raids, U.S. wars and blockades, climate destruction, and more. Connect with those you know and make new connections. Everyone has a role to play in changing this system!
