Since May 1st, the U.S. government has announced additional destructive sanctions on Cuba, sent the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz to the Caribbean, threatened direct military action, and issued a fraudulent indictment against Cuban leader Raul Castro—all escalated attacks on Cuba’s sovereignty, which the U.S. government has been targeting for decades.
