There are reports that he U.S. military is currently preparing for an attack on Venezuela, and the U.S. media are preparing us to accept it. The reasons for this attack are as phony as all the reasons given for all previous U.S. wars within living memory.
South and Central American and the Caribbean countries have been targets of U.S. aggression and interference for well over 150 years – which continue to the present day, including meddling in Honduras’ November 30th elections and the threatened takeover of the Panama Canal.
If the U.S. attacks Venezuela, we must respond with a united emergency response protest connecting this country’s relentless militarism to the loss of rights and the relentless attacks on working people’s living standards here at home.
WHEN: 5PM on the day of the attack (5PM the following day if the attack happens after 3PM)
