Good Friday Vigil: April 3rd, 12 noon – 1:30 pm Federal Plaza – 50 W. Adams, Chicago
Palantir is a multi-billion-dollar high tech surveillance company, complicit in ICE’s targeting of our immigrant neighbors, many activists here at home, and Palestinian communities across the West Bank and Gaza. Its products are the digital backbone of the authoritarian regime in this country and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Palantir has also helped drive the U.S./Israel war on Iran, arguing for military strikes, providing AI targeting, making huge profits – and openly predicting further “investment opportunities” after regime change.
Please bring handwritten poems and prayers to the victims of ICE’s deportations and killings, Israel’s genocide in Gaza, and the brutal occupation of the West Bank.
Vigil participants will be invited to share, adding to a visual, public memorial to those deported and killed, both here and abroad.
Co-Sponsored by: American Muslims for Palestine – Chicago; American Friends Service Committee; Committee for a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel; Mennonite Action Chicago; Chicago Area Peace Action; Chicago Committee Against War and Racism; and Wellington Avenue United Church of Christ (list in formation)
