*Congressional Demands*
The U.S.-Israel war against Iran is unauthorized, devastating, and dangerous. Congress has both the constitutional authority and the responsibility to stop it. We are calling on every member of Congress to take the following actions:
I. Cut off funding for the war
Pledge to oppose any defense appropriation or authorization that does not end U.S. participation in the war against Iran. Congress must use the power of the purse to stop an unauthorized war that has cost civilian lives, put U.S. service members at risk, damaged civilian infrastructure, and deepened economic hardship in the United States and around the world.
II. Enforce the Iran War Powers Resolutions
Release a statement affirming that the Iran War Powers Resolutions are legally binding, and support future war-powers measures. The Constitution gives Congress—not any one president—the authority to initiate war. Members of Congress must use their positions to enforce the direction already given to terminate unauthorized hostilities.
III. Demand accountability for the Minab Elementary School bombing
Publicly call for the full release of the Department of Defense investigation into the U.S. bombing of Minab Elementary School, which reportedly killed 120 children as well as teachers and staff AND investigate the bombing of the civilian wedding party in Kuhestak . The public deserves a full accounting, and the victims’ families deserve truth and accountability.
IV. Support diplomacy, sanctions relief, and a peace agreement to End the War!

In addition, we demand that Senators Duckworth and Durbin
