Join us on May 14th for “The Voice of Hind Rajab,” an award-winning 2025 documentary that follows the Red Crescent response during the killing of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl, by Israel’s military during the invasion of the Gaza Strip.
After the documentary, there will be a discussion led by Lesley Williams, organizer with Evanston for a Free Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace, and recipient of the 2024 Cleland-Tholin Pursuit of Peace Award.
“The Voice of Hind Rajab” has won multiple international awards and been called “a harrowing docudrama that makes a powerful appeal to humanity.” In the words of film critic Brian Tallerico, “…true action sometimes requires being confronted with visions of true horror instead of just reading or hearing about them. ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ is the confrontation its victim deserves.”
The documentary opened the first edition of the Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema in Deir al-Balah on 26 October 2025.
We hope you will join us for this difficult but important documentary and discussion.
